The Australian Institute of Marine Science is committed to working with industry partners to generate the baseline research, knowledge and tools to tackle the marine science issues they face, now and into the future.
Our goal is to help them achieve sustainability, reduce environmental risk and increase the value and viability of their business by meeting these challenges head on.
Over the past 20 years, we have worked closely with partners across many industries. Most of our industry partners have come from the fishing, aquaculture, biotechnology, mining, tourism, agriculture and forestry sectors.
We emphasise a collaborative approach to working with these industry partners. Through co-investment, we can provide the flexibility and responsiveness needed to capitalise on opportunities as they arise, providing a competitive edge for all.
